Product description
Hand forged chisels by Imai san at Nijihiro, with White Paper Steel laminated to low carbon jigane steel and White Oak handles (Quercus myrsinifolia). The hoops are already set, so they’re ready for use straight away. Order individually or the entire set.
Most Japanese woodworking uses softwoods (mostly cedar and cypress) and these chisels are not intended for use with harder timber, especially knotted or burred wood.
