Product description
This is where things get serious. In Japan they use these shears for clipping Podocarpus macrophyllus - just the soft fleshy foliage, no woody stuff whatsoever. They are extraordinarily light, both the blades and the Hinoki handles, and make a great all-day solution for very careful early summer box clipping, before the foliage has ripened. Not for hedges, hacking or any arduous jobs at all.
Be warned: no stopper or cushioning, so watch your knuckles.

- Clean with a Niwaki Clean Mate rust and sap eraser
- Sharpen with a Niwaki #1000 grit stone
- Protect with Niwaki Camellia Oil
