Product description
Kurumi Secateurs, Kurumi Pro Snips and a pair of Mini Secateurs, wrapped in hand dyed tenugui cotton and presented in a Paulownia gift box. The set comprises
- Kurumi Secateurs: beautiful secateurs for careful, considered pruning. Forged from hard wearing KA70 carbon steel, with walnut wood inlays in the handles providing a natural warmth and texture, as well as a great deal of style.
- Kurumi Pro Snips: refined snips for fine work and light pruning - the two pointed blades offer more precision and accuracy than secateurs, but at a loss of strength. Made from the same hard-wearing KA70 carbon steel and walnut wood as the secateurs.
- Mini Secateurs: there’s no better way to describe them than mini, because that’s what they are, but that shouldn’t belittle them in any way - these forged secateurs are perfect for flower arranging, greenhouse and ‘back pocket’ jobs and stealth missions where one doesn’t need or want larger pruners. The leather leggings add a touch of natural character, as well as grip, and will age nicely.
Best usage
- Clean with a Niwaki Clean Mate rust and sap eraser
- Sharpen with a Niwaki #1000 grit stone
- Protect with Niwaki Camellia Oil
