Product description
Extraordinarily beautiful folding friction knife from Kotoh, with kurogaki (persimmon) handle and a 2.5" blade of D2 steel forged in the traditional Japanese shape. Mr Kotoh has recently retired from the Japanese Defence Force, and can now put his full efforts into knife production. It’s just him - each one is entirely hand forged. The handles vary - of course - and may be lighter, or darker than illustrated.
Kotoh san’s knives are delicate little things - think gentleperson’s pocket knife rather than outdoor survivalist. Avoid undue pressure on the blade and don’t twist or turn.
Comes with a soft leather pouch, or the heavy duty leather Sheath as an option.
