Our classic sun/rain shade in rugged, unlined 16oz canvas, with a cheeky dash of Niwaki red on the inside. Clamp buckle on the back adjusts from small right up to enormous - it seems to fit (and suit) everyone.
Best usage
You don’t really need to be told how to wear a cap do you? Brim goes at the front, unless you wish to protect your neck, in which case turn it around. Or sideways for one ear. Or inside out … it’s really up to you.
- If it’s too new for you, leave it in the garden for a week and let the rain and sun do their worst – the canvas mellows beautifully.
- Hand wash & line dry only.
- If it’s really stinking hot, soak a Niwaki Tenugui in cold water and wear it under the hat or around your neck for a Tokyo meets French Foreign Legion look.
