Ok, so it’s not quite Fuji san, but Kongo san is our local highest peak when we’re in Japan, and amazingly we’d never been up before - until a few weeks ago. We took a cable car most of the way up, and we’re not even sure if we reached the top or not, but it was a hoot. On the way home we dropped in on some well known local rice fields for the evening sun.
