Part Tokyo-based designer and stylist, part mountain man and guerrilla gardener, whichever way you approach him, Fumihiko Okabe is quite a character. His Harvesta brand of cranky workwear merges traditional Japanese gardening gear with street and sportswear. These velcro-strapped Tabi combine all three, and they look and feel extraordinary.
Lined with murasaki-purple padding on the inside, reinforced around the toe and with a flexible rubber sole for grip, balance and poise.
Waterproof isn’t the right word, but the rubberised coating around the base will keep dewey mornings at bay.
Best usage
You need the socks too!
